Not sure on mod street but see how i go in outlaw radial. i did run a twin turbo SBC now gone to a BBC Top Alchol style engine, promag and kobelco 14/71 so that should be fun

Ha Ha ,well Khaino you pretty much summed it up. At least we have a radial class to race and have fun in ,that will do me as well.

Look I agree with what you are saying and I also think a x275 class just like the states with the same rules as they run would work fine, if given the chance.
I have started on my new build and it will run 275s. but at this stage I am a bit over the rule changes so the engine combo will be for outlaw then I don’t have to worry about change half way through a build.
If something was put in place just like the USA X275 and set in concrete you could defiantly count me in until then I will keep going with the direction I am
Hey Bln355 I am stuck on what power adder to use as well due to the rules. For twin I would use PTE6266 these turbos will have a advantage over the other power adders. The bullseye s480 batmo wheel is the only 80mm that’s going to cut it and from what I can work out from size the F1R is the only procharger you can run?
I have run the 6265 turbos and they are great, but I have always wanted to run a single or even a charger for a simpler cleaner look so I am not sure yet, I do like the S480 batmo wheel T6 ?????????????

That’s the best part about radial, it doesn’t matter how fast your car is you have to make it stick, anyone can win a final and it’s not always the fastest car, makes for exciting Unpredictable racing 😀

No weight breaks. That’s why it’s called outlaw radial
Outlaw radial was getting full fields until the introduction of X275.
The fields where basically split in half.
Why cant we come to some sort of agreement to join the radial fields again.
Same basic rules for outlaw radial.
Weights for different size tyres,power adders etc.
Surely something can be worked out with this.
I agree with khaino there use to be a heap of radial cars until the class was split up. I am the first to say we don’t need anymore classes, let them run in mod st blown with slicks and wheelie bars and if there is not enough radial cars at a meet( which there would be if all radial tyred cars were in one class) then you could combine mod st blown and radial for that meet only if required.

Line em up. The USA rules would be better with no wheelie bars and tyre size but hey with the numbers we have had in outlaw radial let them run. Just Don’t change anything with the direct radial cars.

Same said for the whinging thread, I am sick of reading all the crap that is just making us look and sound like a bunch Of whingers and not racers, at the end of the day I know not everyone has the budget to run heads up at the front of the field but that is what heads up is all about since the beginning ( doing more to your car to beat your mates straight up ) so let’s stop creating more classes and just try and fill the ones that are already in place.
There’s nothing wrong with where you run or sit in a list, it’s just personal satisfaction to try and better yourself or Climb to the top.
Just remember the friendships made and the comradery between racers sometimes is the best part of the sport.
In saying this I hope to be back sometime maybe next year to support APSA , you all know it takes time and money to try and tame that personal satisfaction of enough is never enough. FXTTFMF 8)
