So with out sounding like a pest and asking a question that has already possibly been answered either here or on the Facebook and me not understanding it, can any car CURRENTLY run a 29×10.5(non W) slick or is it not wrote clearly in the rules and this was intend to give the 28/9 sports compact style cars somewhere to race?
Are the rules staying as they are for a period of time at the moment or are they going to be re looked at as my car is also being redone at the moment , just if there is going to be major changes I’ll hold out, I don’t have a problem with the rules (less this radial tire drama) but just would be good to know what is planed ahead for the class?
as a few people might no and those who don’t i hurt the motor before i got to even race it,
it spun 3 bearings and when pulled down the bores were pretty bad etc,
the new motor should be finished in the next few weeks and is being put together by a local friend (SJH Race engines), then few other little bits and pieces like new glide , radials etc,
motor is now 355 cubes, harrop crank, scat h-beams, srp’s m&w 4 bolt caps, VT block grouted,new flat tappet etc,now running a mechanical belt driven fuel pump, front cell etc,iv also changed turbos and moved there position,

cheers guys we turned it to 6800 on chassis dyno, on 16 psi it made the 629rwhp on 5psi it made 479rwhp,

count me in 110% if my cars not going by feb it’l be burnt will not be competitive but just be good to finnaly race, aNd will be able to talk the mate in to his radial twin turbo sbc mazda if theres radial

hopefully get car back this week, iv got few morethings to do like fuel lines, wiring etc, then of to get panelwork finished,and painted
hopefully pipes and cold side should be finished this week aswell as the intake plenum, just been modified to fit under the bonnet and run a diffrent throttle body,
ill post few more pics next few days hopefuly for anyone who may be interested
