Just wanted to check on the rule for mod street regarding fabricated floor. We are building a new car for msb which had a rusty floor that we have removed .

Im sure Craig Brewer can give you some guidance on that, so just give him a call.

I think you would be hard pressed to find a Capri, LJ, etc that hasnt had any floor section replaced, but to “fabricate” a complete new floor would be a much different thing.

I’m very Interested in this one also, as I want to keep my new car MSB legal but hope to be able to build it to SFI 25.3 spec with regards to the cage in the cockpit area, but to do this it would be much easier on my car to fit new sheet metal to the floor and make it all flat. I am happy to keep the factory tunnel and weld the new floor in, it just won’t follow the factory profile.
